Health Canada Researching Possibility that Compact Fluoresce

Two months ago, British officials announced a warning that standing within a foot of a compact fluorescent light bulb exposes you to as much UV radiation as standing outside on a sunny day. This has led Health Canada to begin its own study to determine if compact fluorescents are releasing harmful amounts of UV light.
